Deworming Pills Project
no more itchy heads and better focus!
Most kids in developing countries have parasitic worms, and the result is malnutrition and sicknesses that cause absences from school. These worms are bad for the children’s health, cognitive development, education and a brighter future. Besides all that, it is really itchy. Chronic illness caused by worm infections reduces literacy and thus adult productivity thereby impacting on the economic development of low and middle income countries. One of the most cost-effective ways of getting more children into school appears to be deworming them with one pill a year.
